Tuesday Tidbits

  • I feel lots and lots of gratitude lately
  • The more I see suffering the more grateful I become
  • I don't have much, but I do have ME back and that is a miracle-it truly is
  • I saw POS today in line at the bank. He looks awful
  • BUT he is on day 7 so I hope that works out for him
  • He said to me "I was having seizures" to which I replied "No REALLY?"
  • He actually GOT INSURANCE for my son, without me having to ask or force him
  • THAT is another miracle
  • I get to speak at my Home Group tonight. I am always nervous but it needs to be done
  • My boss stuck up for me to HIS boss today. Miracle # 3
  • I'm glad I can be a trusted employee these days
  • My son seems to be content, no drama-no anger. Thank you abilify.
  • I am happy that spring is here, but not liking my grass growing faster than a speeding bullet
  • Your Queen does NOT mow grass-she just doesn't
  • That is where a house bitch would come in handy. I am still interviewing so keep the applications coming people.

With that I wish you all a great night, I'm off to get snacks for my drunks. QUEEN....OUT

You've got much to be grateful for here! Congrats on your speaking at group! I always enjoy the open AA meetings and leave feeling so inspired. You AAers have way more fun than us Al-Anoners! LOL! Like you...I don't mow either! YUK! However, I will work a flower bed a little...just a little! My man dropped by today and noticed the bill from the gardner and said...you pay 80 bucks a month for that guy to mow for you? You could so save that money by letting me do it! Ummm, yeah...but I am not crazy about how his lawn looks, so I don't think that is going to work for me! I think I will keep the gardener! Blessings, Lisa

Mowing grass and general lawn/yard maintenance can be very healthy - physically and mentally. It is for me, at least.

I need a house bitvh as well! I have not gotten child support in a long time, and yesterday while I was trying to fill Nikki's scripts I was wishing for better ins., but at least I had state aid.

yup, I need a wife to weed the yard. And maybe I'd like to hire someone to finish that damn patio! Truly, I wanted to do it myself to save $$, but now I'm not so sure. We're going to be digging dirt till kingdom come.

Hey Queenie! Here's something for you to look at and listen too.
Sorry I don't know how to mesh it all together. I'm new with this crap. But go here:

Being trusted by anyone is a GREAT thing.
It is something that addicts take advantage of.
Trust is such a big thing with me.
Even in my using days, at my worst I didn't steal from the people that had still a once of trust of me because I didn't want to fuck it up you know...

Cool thing your boss did for you, sticking up for you to his boss.

I don't mow the lawn either unless my mother hounds me for days to do, then I will finally give in and do it.

Glad that your sober and staying that way! Good for you!

POS- 7days is not much but 7 days can turn into 7 years right?

Stay Up!
